Amanda:

It all started at a play. I had gone that afternoon to support my friend, who was performing in a production. I didn’t expect much beyond a few hours of applauding from the sidelines. But little did I know, that afternoon would mark the beginning of something far more significant.

After the show, I was introduced to Seth. We were strangers, yet there was an undeniable warmth in his presence, a quiet comfort that instantly intrigued me. It wasn’t just his smile or the way he spoke—it was the feeling that I had known him for longer than a mere moment.

A few days later, we found ourselves chatting more. What began as casual talk about the play soon flowed into deeper conversations—about life, dreams, and everything in between. Each word we shared felt like we were building something special, and before long, those conversations turned into coffee dates. Every time we met, I realized more and more how easy it was to be around him, how effortlessly he made me feel understood.

Now, as we stand at the threshold of this next chapter together, I can’t help but reflect on how it all started with a simple encounter, a play, and a chance meeting that changed everything. I am beyond excited to step into forever with him, to say “I do,” knowing this is just the beginning of our most beautiful adventure.

Seth:

On a sunny October afternoon, a red headed, beautiful woman approached me at the nearest theatre. Nearly three years later, that woman is my bride to be.

Of course, in the fall of ’22, I never saw that coming. I had finished a performance when I met her, and originally, Amanda went to see a mutual friend of ours who was also on stage. Without my knowledge, her friend had intentions of introducing us that day, but only as her instructor since they signed up for one of my workshops the following month. When the play was over, I was delighted to meet her though. She was rather quiet at first, but friendly and although I never anticipated getting to know her more, I couldn’t help but notice that my first impression was her hair. I would eventually tell her that, and to this day, it’s still one of her most beautiful traits.

From then on, after a few coffee dates and some traveling, I also got to know her deeper qualities: her intelligence, witty humor and lovely smile to name a few. Beyond that, however, she has been such an inspiration to me overtime, simply just by being genuine. Amanda purely defines that term, and though our chemistry and connection are special alone, authenticity is natural within her heart and soul; and when you ask others that she serves, they will tell you just the same.

As I reflect, now well into our thirties, Amanda and I had also undergone several milestones already prior to meeting and for most of my life, I never knew of her existence. But long ago, I also accepted that timing is mysterious. Rewards come sooner for others and later for some, but I discovered her with open arms. She also reminds me that in this imperfect world, joy outweighs it and that is what she brings to me. Together, we embrace that joy every day, and our bond grows stronger and healthier because of it. For decades to come, this new chapter excites me as we continue our journey. I love her more than words can say.
