Once upon a time, there were two lonely souls, Amanda and Randy, who longed to find love and a best friend to share their lives with. They both tried their luck with dating apps, but it was failure after failure. Just when all hope seemed lost, Amanda saw a cute Harry Potter fan pop up on her Hinge account. Meanwhile, Randy was on the verge of giving up when he came across a pretty girl whose bio said she loved medium-rare steak and a cold beer.

They exchanged messages back and forth for about a week until Randy suggested they meet in person. To ease any awkwardness, he proposed bringing along some friends. Amanda loved this idea and felt a wave of relief about going on yet another date. Yet, she had a strange feeling that this time might be different.

They met at a place called Austin Avenue, and both were taken aback by how much more attractive the other was in person. They had a chance to talk and get to know each other before their friends arrived. It turned into a fun night filled with drinks and karaoke, and everyone was having a great time. Amanda, a karaoke enthusiast, decided to take the stage and sing "Decode" by Paramore, leaving Randy speechless, his jaw dropping to the floor.

As the night progressed, Randy kept making eyes at Amanda. Finally, he turned her head toward him and kissed her. In that moment, Amanda knew her search was over; she had found the Hufflepuff to her Slytherin.
