Once upon a time, in the digital age, two hearts destined to be together found each other on Tinder. Amidst countless profiles, Amanda stood out to me. Her radiant smile and love for horror movies immediately caught my attention, and we quickly matched. Our conversations flowed effortlessly, revealing a connection that felt as though it was always meant to be.
 
Our first date, on January 11th, 2020, was nothing short of magical. We met at the AMC Movie Theaters in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, to watch "The Grudge." Knowing Amanda's passion for horror, I knew this was the perfect choice. As the movie played, I found myself more captivated by her reactions than by the film itself. Her excitement and enthusiasm were contagious, and in those moments, I felt a spark that I knew was special. The shared scares, laughter, and the feeling of holding her hand and feeling Halle kick in her belly, created a bond that would only strengthen with time.
 
It wasn&#8217;t long before I realized Amanda was the one I wanted to spend forever with. There was a moment, a feeling deep within me, that I couldn't ignore&#8212;I felt incomplete without her. She was my other half, the person who made me feel whole in a way I had never felt before. Knowing she was the one for me was both exhilarating and comforting.
 
After months of careful planning, I proposed to Amanda on October 30th, 2024. I chose the day before Halloween, a time she adores, to make the moment even more special. I wanted to incorporate elements that reflected her love for Halloween and her favorite horror movie, "Scream." I created a Scream/Halloween-themed proposal with a path of pumpkins, covered with rose petals, leading to a beautiful balloon arch. At the end of the path, on the steps of the dock, glowing letters spelled out "Marry Me." As we reached the balloon arch, adorned with orange and purple Halloween lights wrapped around the dock at sunset, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. Her joyful and tearful "yes" overflowed my heart with happiness. This was the beginning of forever.
 
Given Amanda&#8217;s love for October, choosing October 5th, 2025, for our wedding was a natural decision. We wanted our special day to reflect her favorite season, filled with the magic and beauty of autumn. The day after our wedding, we will embark on our honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, ready to start our new chapter as a married couple in a tropical paradise. We&#8217;re thrilled to begin our adventure as husband and wife there.
 
As we look forward to our future together, we are filled with hope and excitement. We expect to live happily ever after, cherishing every moment and creating countless memories together. Our love story is just beginning, and we can&#8217;t wait to see where this journey takes us. Together, we will write the most beautiful chapters of our lives.
