Can we bring our children?
We love your children, but we kindly ask that you leave your kids at home and plan for childcare for the evening.
Am I allowed a plus one?
Due to the size of our wedding, we kindly ask for you to not invite extra guests unless specified on your invitation.
Have you reserved room blocks at one or more hotels?
Yes! We have a room block at The Pfister Hotel and The Milwaukee Marriot Downtown.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Black Tie Encouraged!
Black-tie "encouraged" means that you have the option and are encouraged to wear your most formal attire (evening gown or tuxedo) if you own it or would like to. You can wear a tuxedo (no vest or cummerbund required) or a floor-length evening gown if you want, but a dark formal suit with dress pants and nice loafers would be acceptable too. Similarly, a knee-length or midi-length cocktail dress would also be appropriate instead of a floor-length gown.

What type of food will be served?
We will be serving hot and cold hors d'ouvres during our cocktail hour followed by a sit down 3 course dinner with choice of entree. During the evening, we will have a late night snack station as well as a dessert station
Will there be options for guests with dietary restrictions/allergies?
Yes! We will have a vegetarian entree option at dinner. Please include on your RSVP any dietary restrictions or allergies ahead of time as our venue cannot accomodate these restrictions same-day.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, we will have an open bar with a variety of wine, beer, and liquor selections.
What is the wedding day itinerary?
Our ceremony will start promptly at 2:30pm, followed by cocktail hour at 5:30pm, and dinner/reception events starting at 6:30pm. The dancing and partying will commence after dinner!
What time should I arrive at the church?
Please arrive at St. Sebastian's at least 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
Can I take photos?
While we love photos and commemorating our day, we are celebrating the sacrament of matrimony in a sacred space. We ask that all cameras and cellphones are put away during this time to allow for our photographer and videographer to do their amazing work. After our ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want, but please be mindful of our photographer + videographer, Hanna & Brian, from Embers Media!
Will there be parking?
St. Sebastian's Church offers street parking and a parking lot to use for our ceremony. The Pfister Hotel offers valet parking and a designated parking garage that is connected to the hotel. At the wedding reception, parking vouchers will be available on the counters at the bars. "Event only" parking with a voucher will give you a discounted rate of $10. "Overnight parking" with a voucher will give you a discounted rate of $20. Additionally, there is a public parking lot across the street from the hotel as well as a public parking garage nearby.
On my hotel reservation at the Pfister, I see something for "CLub Lounge Access", what is that?
Club Lounge Access gives you entry to a private room offering a full hot breakfast, snacks, refreshments throughout the day, and an evening honor bar with hors d'oeuvres & desserts, plus a space with great views of the city that is ideal for working or relaxing. Club Lounge Access can be added to your reservation for $75 per night.
