After talking on Bumble for a few days, Andy mentioned needing help move bales and Amanda came and helped move bales the first time they met. Hours were spent talking in the truck.

Andy asked Amanda on the first official date. Movies and Mexican in Marshalltown. This is also the night that Andy asked Amanda to be his grilfriend.

Amanda and Andy went to their first tractor pulls together in Waverly. It has become a favorite summer activity for us.

Our first state fair together. Amanda learned a lot on this trip.

We celebrated Amanda's first day of school at North Tama by checking cows together.

Andy took Amanda to Dari Barn for the first time, but forgot to mention that they close for the winter months.

We made last minute Halloween costumes for our first Halloween.

Amanda's mom supported Andy's desire for overalls at Christmas. Amanda did not approve.

Andy and Amanda bought a house.

We brought home Kimber from the farm to our house.

We got engaged!!!! One of our show heifers had their first calf the morning of January 2nd 2024 and that evening Andy made sure Amanda was there to help tag that calf. Amanda was still on winter break and wanted to stay home, but Andy insisted that she be at the farm between 6 and 6:15 that night. Amanda had no clue! Andy worked on the ranger, wrote the tag, made sure that the board got cleaned off for a fresh start. All while Amanda was getting more frustrated because she just wanted to go home. Little did she know, Andy was waiting for his sister to get there with the ring to propose to her with. It was the happiest day.
