Our Wedding

We met in the spring of 2022 in a college chemistry lab. Although we were assigned to different groups, we often ended up working together anyway. Something about it just felt natural. Not long after, Amanda invited Luca to join a study group, and that’s when we really started to connect. What began with schoolwork turned into real conversations, shared goals, and a quiet sense of partnership that kept growing over time.Our first date was at Amanda’s favorite ramen restaurant, Domu. It marked the beginning of something steady and meaningful. We were both on the path toward nursing school, which was a demanding journey and became a significant part of our story. Luca brought a steady focus and calm encouragement, always motivating Amanda to push through. Amanda, in turn, was always looking for ways to keep things light and fun, finding small moments of joy in the midst of the stress. That balance helped carry us through. On August 31, 2024, Luca proposed. A few months later, we both graduated on December 13 and soon moved to Texas to begin our nursing careers. Today, we share a home with our two cats, Millie and Flow, and are building a life we’re proud of. From lab partners to life partners, we’ve come a long way. We’re excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have supported us along the way.
