When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by January 25, 2026 by clicking on the "RSVP" tab above or using the QR code on your invitation. Be sure to include the total guest count and meal choices (along with any food allergies so that we can do our best to accommodate!). If you have RSVP'd and have any last-minute changes after the cut-off date, please let us know ASAP so that we can make the necessary adjustments.

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

As we have limited space and want to ensure we can accommodate all of our loved ones, please do not bring an any additional guests other than people who are specifically listed on the wedding invitation.

Where is the venue located?

VASA is located at 3094 El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92104 and the main cross streets are El Cajon Blvd and Illinois St

Where is the event parking?

Valet is included for all guests! Simply pull up to the valet tent in front of the venue, hand over your keys to the professional valet team, and enjoy feeling like a VIP. Additional gratuity for the valet staff is completely optional and not required. There is also street parking available as well as a few nearby parking garages if you would prefer to self-park. ACE parking lot is located in between VASA and Craft Brewery on Meade Ave through the back alley. The ACE parking lot is $5 for a half day and $10 for a full day.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 4:00pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue 15-30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to get through valet (or self-park) and find a seat.

What is the Dress Code?

Our wedding will be a formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress for a festive, polished look.

Where are you registered for wedding gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 4616 W Del Rio St, Chandler AZ 85226. You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab. We will also have a card box at our venue.

Is the venue disability-friendly?

There are stairs at the front entrance of the venue. If you require accommodations, please let us know and we can direct you to a back entrance without stairs.

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar for guests 21 and over to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and during the reception. We will also have plenty of non-alcoholic beverages available.

Will we be indoor or outdoor?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside in the rose garden before moving inside the ballroom for the reception. Guests will walk to the garden on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended. Weather is expected to be around 60 and there will be heaters on the patio if needed to keep everyone comfortable.

What is the wedding itinerary?

Our wedding will take place at VASA at 3094 El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92104 on Sunday, March 1st, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 10:00pm.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

A 60-minute cocktail hour will take place on the lawn/patio area between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, small bites and lawn games.

Have you reserved room blocks for out-of-town guests?

We have reserved room blocks at two different hotels. Please use the "Hotels" tab above to book your stay as soon as possible to guarantee a room at the discounted rate.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at that time. We want our guests to be truly in the moment with us, and we have hired an amazing photographer to capture our special day. Photos during the cocktail hour and reception are encouraged!
