Amanda and Noah met in the Fall of 2019 at Manhattanville University where they each played on the men’s and women’s ice hockey team. Despite Noah’s reserved nature, he was the only person who wanted to throw a football with her on the quad. His persistence in getting to know Amanda during her senior and his freshman year, formed a great friendship that would end up growing into much more, and the rest is history.
Noah asked Amanda to be his girlfriend on November 19th, 2019 at the bar where Amanda worked, clever on his end setting himself up for unlimited free drinks every time they went out. From there, they were each other’s biggest cheer leaders at every hockey game, had many great dates at chipotle, and enjoyed doing anything together, especially if it involved staying in, playing cards, and having wine.
On April 26th, 2025, Noah popped the question while on vacation to Florida visiting Amanda’s father. With Amanda’s love for turtles, Noah walked her down the beach in the direction of a turtle hatching site, then as they stared out to ocean, he knelt down on one knee asking to spend the rest of his life with his best friend.
The last 6 years together has been the best years of their lives-filled with concerts, days at Jenks, blending of friends and family, and of course becoming a dog mom/dad to Enzo. Together, Noah and Amanda have grown as individuals and as a couple and they couldn’t be happier to become husband and wife. They are so grateful to be surrounded by their friends and family on their special day and can’t wait to see all of you in Point Pleasant in May!
