Amanda and Vrijen met "at a bar" called Match, six days after Vrijen moved to Brooklyn from India. For Amanda, it was love at first sight— Vrijen had every quality she was looking for in a partner. As for Vrijen— he was just happy to be with someone so cool...

During the pandemic times, Amanda moved into Vrijen's studio in Fort Greene and they had a cat together— Avocato. When Vrijen got accepted into business school, Amanda reluctantly followed him, and the two lived together in upstate New York where they had new experiences together and got engaged in January 2020.

Amanda and Vrijen were married on May 8th, in front of a waterfall in Ithaca, New York, with their parents watching on Zoom. They still want to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family (you!)

On September 10th, 2023, the happily married couple will be "properly married" and seal the deal with their family and friends in a moody barnyard celebration!
