In the bustling streets of Pinecrest, amidst the hurried footsteps and city buzz, fate orchestrated a meeting that would change our lives forever. It was the summer of 2015 when Amanda just graduated High School and was looking for a job. Her sister in law, Nicole, was leaving her job at Giardino's Gourmet Salads™️ and asked if she wanted to work there. She eagerly said yes and was looking forward to her first real job. Once at the interview, she was hired right on the spot by Alex Trujillo (AKA future father in law, she just didn't know it yet). After excitedly jumping for joy at the sound of a new job, she looked through the small square window that was located by the back of the store where THERE he was, the love of her absolute life, Alejandro Trujillo staring back at her. She remembers thinking "Who is that?" and he was thinking "Who is she?".
After working together for about two months and Amanda knowing she would date this man no doubt about it, she started asking questions such as “sooo where do you go out usually?”, “Do you still speak to your ex girlfriend?”. 😂 Ale passed the test he had no idea he was taking and realized “hmmm I think this girl likes me 🤔”. So he decided to take her out on a date to World of Beer where they hit it off and began dating in September of 2015. They dated up until May of 2017 where life's unpredictable twists led us down separate paths. Four years passed, filled with highs and lows, growth, and self-discovery. Yet, despite the distance and time apart, thoughts of each other lingered in the back of our minds, a constant reminder of a love left behind.
Then, in an unexpected turn of events, our paths converged once again. A chance encounter brought us face to face, and as if no time had passed at all, the sparks reignited, brighter than ever before.
With hearts full of hope and a deep understanding of what we had lost, we embarked on a journey of reconciliation.
Now, as we stand hand in hand, ready to exchange vows and embark on a new chapter together, we are filled with gratitude for the journey that brought us here. Our love, strengthened by adversity, is more resilient than ever before.
In each other's arms, we have found our home. And as we say "I do" surrounded by our loved ones, we know that our love story, born in a humble salad shop, is just the beginning of a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
