Andrew and I first met in December 2018 at a birthday party. Neither of us wanted to go because we were being lazy. My best friend ended up dragging me along, and Andrew’s parents convinced him to go for the food. Little did either of us know that we would be meeting our future spouse. We can still remember the instant connection we both felt. We spent the night getting to know each other, playing ping-pong, and sitting next to each other as Andrew played the guitar. From that moment on, we couldn’t stop thinking about each other. We started spending more time together, and then Andrew asked me to prom. This truly was the beginning of something special.We both ended up going to different colleges, and for four years, we maintained a long- distance relationship. It wasn’t easy being apart, but we grew closer and stronger as we navigated the ups and downs of life. Those years taught us so much about trust, patience, and how to make the most of every moment together. Whether it was a weekend visit or a late-night phone call. The distance never stopped us from making memories and supporting each other through everything.After graduating college and moving back home, we started thinking about and planning for our future together. Andrew proposed on a quiet little bridge overlooking the water on a family trip to Europe in the magical city of Venice, Italy. The setting was perfect, and the moment felt surreal. We couldn’t imagine spending the rest of our lives with anyone else, and we can’t wait to be husband and wife.
