On December 27th, Josh asked Amanda out to dinner to go to the Hive in Thief River Falls. We sat there and talked for about 3 hours until we realized it was 10pm and should probably go home since we both worked the next day.

We went to the Morgan Wallen concert and it was awesome! We had such a good time and Josh even told Amanda that he loved her for the first time....could have been the beer too! :)

In October of 2022, we flew to Phoenix and spent a long weekend exploring the area of Scottsdale. We got alcohol infused ice cream, went to a state park and checked out some cactuses, played TopGolf, sat by the pool, got massages and checked out Old Scottsdale! It was a fun and relaxing time and we can't wait to go back! Amanda is excited to be a snowbird one day and spend winters down there!

Josh and Amanda found out they were pregnant in late December and later had a gender reveal to find out they are having a boy!

The day that Josh got the ring, he didn't want to wait to ask Amanda...he just wanted to get it over with. Amanda got home from work with plans to work on some house DIY projects, so she went to change into her painting clothes. Josh was about to stop her from changing but didn't want her to get suspicious. Josh's mom, Holly, was there (she dropped off the ring for Josh) and his brother-in-law Zach just so happened to be at the house as well! Amanda came out to the deck where everyone was to hang out and visit. Josh out of nowhere got down on a knee and with a ring and popped the question! It took Amanda a second to realize what was happening because it was so unexpected! She of course started crying and said, "YES!" She completely regretted her outfit decision. :)
