Where are the ceremony & reception taking place?
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at Escape Ranch. Everything, weather permitting, will be outside. Florida weather can be somewhat unpredictable in February. Be prepared for lows of 60 and highs of 80.
What is the dress code?
We would love to see all our loved ones dressed up for our big day! The dress code is semi-formal. Please note the ceremony and reception will be located outside in a grassy area, so please dress accordingly!
Can I bring my children?
We have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope you understand and take the opportunity to enjoy the night off with us!
How do I get to the wedding venue?
You can access highway 441 from any of the nearby cities: Melbourne, Vero Beach, St. Cloud, etc. From 441 in Kenansville, turn east onto Fellsmere Rd and drive about 2 miles to the Escape Ranch gate on the south side of the road. You will be directed from this point.
Will there be a shuttle to & from the wedding?
There will be a shuttle to take guests to and from the wedding. The shuttle will leave Hotel Melby at 3:00p and depart from the wedding at 10:30p. We will ask you to rsvp for the shuttle when you submit your wedding rsvp, so that we can ensure everyone has a ride if they want it.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM. Please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to ensure we can begin on time!
How's parking?
The venue is on private property and there will be plenty of parking space available. We highly recommend commuting in groups, if possible, as the venue is ~35-50 minutes from the closest major cities.
When do I need to RSVP?
We ask that you kindly submit your RSVP on the website by January 15, 2024. This ensures we will have enough time to communicate with all our vendors within a respectful time frame.
Where should we stay?
Escape Ranch is located about ~35-50 minutes from the closest major cities, Melbourne, Vero Beach, St. Cloud, etc, so please consider that when choosing where you will stay. However, we have reserved a hotel block at Hotel Melby in Melbourne, FL. Rooms can be reserved for the 22nd and 23rd at a discounted rate with this party name: Cramer Schmidt. You can enter code "900" into the hotel website when booking. Rooms must be reserved before January 23, 2024.
Can we take pictures during the ceremony?
We respectfully ask that all guests turn off their ringers and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer on hand to capture all the special moments and we are excited to share their photos with you!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, the drinks are on us! Please coordinate transportation accordingly. Unfortunately, rideshare services are likely not available from the venue, so please plan your route home beforehand.
