Our Wedding

We first met about seven years ago while working together at Pick ’n Save. At the time, we were both in and out of other relationships, so we never got especially close—but we had mutual friends in Trevor’s department, which gave us a chance to gradually get to know each other.From the beginning, I felt a natural curiosity and pull toward him. Trevor always seemed kind, helpful, and genuine. One memory that stands out is the time I accidentally spilled 50 gallons of milk. Trevor wasn’t even nearby when it happened, but he walked in, saw me struggling, and jumped right in to help clean it up. That moment stuck with me.Despite moments like that, we were never more than coworkers. Eventually, I had been single for a while and had sworn off dating when I found out Trevor was also newly single. I couldn’t help but feel that same intrigue again. A few days later, I decided to reach out and let him know that if he ever needed someone to talk to, I was there—even though we barely knew each other beyond work.If you know Trevor, you know he’s far too shy to take that first step—so weeks went by without a response. But if you know me, you know I wasn’t about to let it end there. I followed up... and that turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made.Over the next eight months, we became best friends. Trevor would leave little surprises in my car while I was at work, and I’d bake him muffins to take on his lunch breaks. Everything about it just felt easy—natural, and right.Eventually, Trevor asked me to be his girlfriend. From there, we spent the next few years making memories together—hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and traveling with our best friends. In March 2024, that journey took the sweetest turn when Trevor sent me on an Easter egg hunt. I jokingly asked if one of the four eggs I chose had an engagement ring in it... and it actually did.Now, all these years later, we’ve built a life filled with laughter, love, adventure, and partnership. We started as coworkers, became best friends, and grew into so much more. We’re not just hunting and fishing buddies—we’re soulmates.
