Ian and Amanda met after Amanda went on a wine tour with some of Ian’s friends and roommates. When the wine tour finished, they all went to Howard and Ian’s place. Amanda attempted to flirt with Ian but didn’t do a very good job. Ian decided to message her on facebook the next day anyway. Amanda impressed Ian with her sarcasm, and on November 21st, 2015 they became a couple. Shortly thereafter, Amanda moved in with Ian and his friends, toting along her cats, Oliver and Millie. In June of 2017 they purchased their first home together in Frederick, MD.

On July 24th, 2018, Ian asked Amanda to marry him outside of Coco Maya restaurant on Virgin Gorda, and he got down on one knee (even though he had fallen earlier that day and cut up his other knee). She happily said yes, and he presented her with her great-grandmothers engagement ring. It was definitely a vacation for the books!

Now the couple is set to Marry at the Stone Manor on October 19th, 2019.
