Ian & I took our first trip together to Charleston. I have always loved the city and was excited to share it with him. We went to the aquarium and I jokingly said " We can get married here one day". The South Carolina Aquarium is a private not-for-profit facility that focuses on education and conservation and also has a Sea Turtle Care Center where they are able in rehabilitate turtles back into the wild. Knowing this, we feel honored to support the aquariums efforts by hosting our wedding there.
Is there a dress code?
We want our guests to be comfortable, however, we ask please no jeans, shorts, sneakers or t-shirts. Cocktail attire preferred. We plan on having the ceremony outdoors on the water and temperatures average high 50s to low 60s in the evening.
Can I take pics/video during the ceremony?
Absolutely! Feel free to capture as much as you like. We just ask that you please do not interfere with our photographers working and please do not stand or lean into the aisle to take a photo. Feel free to post and tag us as well!
Can I bring my child?
We are only planning on extending invitations to the children who are directly involved in our wedding or who have a parent involved in our wedding. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to one of us.
How do I RSVP?
You can search your name on our RSVP page and send your response there. Please RSVP by 9/01/2024.
Is there parking near the Aquarium?
Yes, there is a parking garage right across the street.
What type of food will you be serving?

For dinner, we will have a pasta station with a selection of pasta and sauces, accompanied by salad and focaccia, a smokehouse station with a selection of bbq meats and sides, and a fish plate.
