When do I need to RSVP by?
We ask that you RSVP for yourself and your party no later than October 9, 2024.
What is the timeline of the day?
With this being a Cuban American wedding, we understand the ways of "Cuban" time. We ask that everyone be sat at the Church no later than 1:50 PM as the ceremony will begin promptly at 2 PM.
We also understand the volatility of the Palmetto and Miami traffic. To make sure there is adequate time between events, cocktail hour will begin at 5 PM, with reception doors opening around 6 PM. If you find yourself needing to fill some time between the Ceremony and Cocktail hour, the Marriott Hotel Bar is a wonderful spot!
What is the proper attire for the wedding?
We ask that you please wear appropriate formal wear for the celebration.
Will the ceremony be "unplugged'?
The couple does ask that you refrain from using your cell phone during the ceremony. They ask that you enjoy the moment with them and not behind a phone screen.
Where can I book the hotel for the room block?
The room block has ended at this time.
If you are in need for a room you may book via the Biscayne Bay Marriott, Biscayne Bay Double Tree, or Hilton across the street.
Will there be transportation provided?
Transportation will be provided to and from the Biscayne Bay Marriott for guests who will be staying overnight at the hotel.
Where can I park for the reception?
Guests attending the reception have the option to valet park at the DoubleTree Grand Hotel for $20. There’s also a private parking lot behind Trinity Episcopal Cathedral at 464 NE 16th St, located just south of the DoubleTree Grand, with parking available for $30. Alternatively, the Omni parking garage, across the street from the DoubleTree Grand, is an option, though it is pricier at $50. Nearby street parking may also be available.
Can I use Marriott Points on the Hotel Block?
Unfortunanly, Marriott Points cannot be used to pay for a room using the Hotel Block. However, if you prefer to book using points no problem! Just let the Bride know, so you can be included for transportation to and from the Church from the Marriott Biscayne Bay.
If you are in need for a room you may book via the Biscayne Bay Marriott, Biscayne Bay Double Tree, or Hilton across the street.
Can I bring my child/children?
We ask that only the names provided on the RSVP invitation are in attendance.
The Bride and Groom kindly ask that children in attendance are excused by 9 PM, or an appropriate time deemed by the parents due to the party atmosphere of the evening.
What can I expect weather wise?
Good news, is that all of the ceremony will beheld indoors at the Church! The reception will also be held indoors, with the exception of the cocktail hour. With the volatility of Florida weather, please keep this in mind.
Will there be a cash bar?
With special celebrations comes celebration must haves! One of the Bride and Grooms must have is an open bar, meaning no need to bring cash for drinks, but we do ask you remember to treat the bartenders (and their tip jars) well.
What if I have a food allergy?
If you have any particular food requirements or allergies please let the Bride know. Amanda's cell phone number is 954-849-9493.
Please note that there will be no shellfish served at the wedding as the Bride is allergic.
I have another question but the answer is not here
