How did you two meet? Well, the long story is that in middle school we both attended First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem and went on a mission trip in Tennesee together. We followed each other on social media, and had some mutual acquaintances, however that was the end of it for 10ish years, knowing of each other but never talking or becoming friends.
Short story is that we matched on Hinge and figured since we knew of each other it was probably safe to go on a date or two..
We went on our first date Feb 13, 2021 never expecting to end up where we are now. It took a few months to figure out what we wanted but on May 30th we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. In October 2021, Evan bought his first house in Reading PA and by January 2022 Amanda moved in (...it was more convenient for grad school and her externship...really). Bobby the cat was adopted in February 2022 and by December 2022 we had our baby dog, Millie in our arms. 2023 was filled with Amanda settling into her career as an SLP and Evan getting comfortable in his new job at Case New Holland. Sprinkled throughout the years are many camping trips, Dave Matthews Band concerts, hikes, vacations with our families and never-ending house projects. On December 23rd, 2023, Evan proposed during a hike known as the Pulpit with the help from his sister Emily and BIL Kevin!!
