Wedding Party

Arielle Collins
Arielle Collins - Matron of Honor
How we met: We’ve been friends since 2006 - our friendship started thanks to our ex-boyfriends, who were best friends at the time. (Look at us now!) Fun fact: She’s the ultimate Type A queen - super organized, detail oriented, and always on top of everything. Why she’s in the wedding: Arielle is not only one of my longest and dearest friends, but she’s also the amazing mama of my two goddaughters. She’s loyal, thoughtful, and basically the glue in every group she’s part of. Vibe check: “The Treasurer” of the group - planner, spreadsheet wizard, and low-key the mom friend we all secretly rely on.
Victoria Ojea
Victoria Ojea - Maid of Honor
How we met: We met the day after Christmas in 2018 - my little late holiday gift! We’ve worked together at two different jobs and became instant friends. Fun fact: We trauma bonded over terrible leadership (TWICE), and from there, our friendship only got deeper. She’s the one who always knows what to say - and when to just sit in silence. Why she’s in the wedding: Victoria has seen me at my worst and never flinched. She doesn’t just support me - she lures me out of my dark hole with sunshine and magic. She’s my most level-headed friend (Big Libra Energy), my comfort zone, and the best at talking me off the ledge. Vibe check: Calm, steady, and soul-soothing. The Frick to my Frack, my emotional anchor, and a forever kind of friend.
Elizabeth Holton
Elizabeth Holton - Bridesmaid
How we met: She’s my younger cousin, but growing up, she felt more like my first little sister. We were inseparable and even looked like twins at one point! Fun fact: Elizabeth is a true wanderer - she’s lived all over and has a serious case of travel fever. She’s also a major dog lover! Why she’s in the wedding: She’s more than family; she gets me. We’ve bonded through the highs, lows, and all the family chaos in between. She’s been my safe space for as long as I can remember. Vibe check: Free spirit, globe-trotting, dog-snuggling, and always down for an adventure.
Alexandra Moran
Alexandra Moran - Bridesmaid
How we met: She’s the groom’s sister, but we’re the same age and clicked instantly. Built-in sister from the start. Fun fact: Alexandra is a total super mom. She balances it all with strength, grace, and a great sense of humor! Why she’s in the wedding: She welcomed me into the family with open arms and has truly become the sister I never had. I’m so lucky to call her family in every sense of the word. Vibe check: Loyal, strong, and always real. The kind of woman who gets things done and shows up for the people she loves.
Summer Demers
Summer Demers - Bridesmaid
How we met: We’ve been friends since 2000 - first classmates, then we discovered we lived right behind each other and became inseparable. Fun fact: She’s the absolute sweetest soul you’ll ever meet - kind-hearted, gentle, and always thinking of others. Why she’s in the wedding: Summer is more than a friend - she’s family. She’s the amazing mama to my twin godsons and has been a constant in my life through every season. Vibe check: The heart of the group - soft-spoken, but strong, loyal to the core, and the type of person who makes everyone feel at home.
Brandi Cousin
Brandi Cousin - Bridesmaid
How we met: She’s my hair stylist turned soul sister. Funny enough, we also met because our exes were best friends. (Clearly a theme here!) Fun fact: We’re both Cancers, both blondies, and basically the same person. She’s the one I‘d ride around with while I had foils in my hair, blasting rap songs about being single like it was a lifestyle. Why she’s in the wedding: Brandi is more than my hairdresser - she’s one of my realest friends. She’s seen me at my most unfiltered (literally and emotionally) and loved me through it all. Vibe check: Blonde bombshell energy - loyal, hilarious, will do anything for anyone, and always down for a drive with the volume on max.
Julie Williams
Julie Williams - Bridesmaid
How we met: I used to be her manager and quickly took her under my wing - she gave total little sister vibes from day one. Fun fact: Julie is hands down one of the funniest people I know - quick wit, sharp comebacks, and always has me laughing. Why she’s in the wedding: We’ve been through so much together, and I was honored to stand in her wedding - best wedding weekend ever! No matter how much time passes, we always pick up right where we left off - like no time has passed at all. She credits me for her work ethic, but she’s always had that fire in her. I’m so lucky to have watched her grow into the powerhouse she is. Vibe check: Ride or die little sis energy - funny, loyal, and always a good time!
Matthew Cadow - Best Man
Matt and I met in college at Southern Miss. We bonded through our drum line experiences, but also through late night study sessions together during a Behavioral Neuroscience class. (Fun fact): We actually first bonded over mustard during a Walmart trip for a drum line party, after that I knew we clicked and have been friends since then. Dude has stuck by me through all the highs and lows. After separating cities, me back to Metairie and him to Baton Rouge, we stayed close. He has become a nomadic world traveler, and we’ve still remained close even in different time zones across the earth. Down to earth, stand-up guy, every phone call is a multiple hour experience. My guy my best friend.
James Tamplain - Groomsman
James is Amanda’s oldest and most vocal brother. This guy is unapologetically himself at all times. He also finds that work life balance with his sons, and I can tell how much his sons are his whole world. I’m thankful to have bonded with James over the years and share countless laughs.
Jason Pascal - Groomsman
In a time when the world was basically shut down, I met Jason. A guy that, through working 1 shift together at Capri Blu, I knew we’d get along so well. During Covid times in mid 2020, Jason temporarily left Bourbon Street life to bartend in Metairie. That sparked a friendship that blossomed over the years. We continued working together for a while, but even after we both moved on, we continued to hangout and always talk about anything together. We worked together again years later at Parish Line, and eventually started the Throw It Back Podcast, which ran for 64 episodes over a 2 year period. I think that podcast bonded us even further as we just continued to be ourselves even on the mics. Always down to party. A pick-me-up when you need a good time.
Daniel George - Groomsman
Met Daniel several years ago when he started dating my sister, Alex. I knew ever since then, this dude felt like family. I am lucky to have Daniel as a brother-in-law, as I’ve seen how he is with their kids. An incredible father figure and an absolute gem to my sister. Definitely has helped us with household/car needs more times than we could think. Especially my old car. I wanted Daniel to be a part of this day with me, and really show him how much he means to the Moran family. Everyone in the family knows how important and how great he is.
Jack Chancey - Groomsman
Jack is not only my cousin, but also a close friend. Has talked me off the ledge several times about everything to do with wedding stuff. A Godly man who has inspired me in ways to be more in touch with my faith. Also an all around good guy, who can pull out some great dance moves when prompted. I was lucky to be a part of his bachelor party, and him a part of mine. Through moving from Louisiana to Georgia, he has helped a lot with the transition. Gets along with literally anyone and everyone.
