The Proposal:

After 2 years of long distance, William had received the news that he’d be moving to Houston for work and knew that this would be the perfect opportunity for Amanda and him to start their life together. William, being the great planner that he is, asked his mom to help with the proposal with only one week's notice. Only July 15, 2017, William told Amanda that they were going their family friend’s “graduation party” (Amanda’s note: I was confused why there’d be a graduation party in July, but I played along) hosted at the family’s home in Sugar Land. Little did Amanda know the graduation party would actually be her engagement party.

It was pouring down rain, but William was adamant that he wanted to show Amanda something outside. When they went outside together, William held out an umbrella so they could go walk to the pool-side gazebo that was gorgeously decorated with candles, white roses and lanterns. They got to their spot, William got down on one knee and Amanda said YES!
