We met how any respectable adult would meet their partner in the 2020's... Online! We quickly found we had common ground seeing that Amanda was living in James' hometown of Greenville and James was living in Amanda's hometown of Gray's Creek.

Before we ever met, communication was direct and purposeful, talking about our hopes and dreams and everything we wanted in life. It made our first date so easy, knowing we aligned on so many important aspects of life and we connected immediately. During our first date at Atavola, we knew there was something special between us. Especially when we finally looked around and realized they were closing down around us!

From then on, our Love grew with the time we spent together. We went on many adventures together, from exploring Boston to hiking in Montana, all the while sharing new things that we had never tried but found we enjoyed together. An August adventure to Aruba concluded with James proposing on August 22, 2023 and of course Amanda said 'Yes'!

Every morning starts a new journey that we walk together, truly enjoying life and the time we have with one another. Each day we somehow love each other even more than the day before, and we look forward to all our future adventures as we grow old together!
