Amanda and Kyle were juniors in college when they met. Thanks to some mutual sorority and fraternity friends, Amanda and Kyle finally crossed paths. A few game nights later, a rap concert in Stillwater, and a first date at the Blue Spruce ice cream shop- the rest is history as they say. Amanda and Kyle both graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2019, and thankfully they were both able to stay in Stillwater together while Amanda continued her veterinary education and Kyle worked as a flight instructor for OSU’s Aviation program. During Amanda’s second year of veterinary school, Kyle started his dream job of working for American Airlines as a First Officer with Envoy Air. As of May 2023, Amanda completed her dream of becoming a veterinarian and received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from OSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She now works at CityVet in Frisco, Texas caring for small animals. They always joked that if they survived the ups and downs of vet school, they could survive anything. Amanda wanted to wait until she had all her education completed before Kyle popped the question and he respected her wishes and patiently waited 2,121 days before getting down on one knee on July 16th, 2023. They are incredibly excited about their future adventures together and can’t wait to share a lifetime of memories with one another!
