Our Wedding

THE ONE WHERE THEY METQuentin and Amanda met in June 2022 after Hinge deemed them "most compatible". They talked (and flirted) at length for a week before they finally decided to meet in person at El Potro in Plainfield. Despite her initial first date jitters, Quentin was able to make Amanda feel comfortable with his wit and charm and they ended up wandering around Target, Barnes &amp; Noble, and eventually went bowling because neither was willing to let the night end. Showcasing his natural talent, Quentin bowled two strikes in a row. Feeling confident, he bet Amanda a kiss that he could make it a Turkey. It must of been fate as all 10 pins fell yet again and Amanda's cheeks immediately blushed. Later that evening, the bet was upheld and a second date was in the works. Then, after one month of enjoying getting to know each other's favorites, aspirations, and hobbies, Quentin and Amanda made their relationship official. THE ONE WHERE THEY MOVED IN TOGETHER For the past two years, Amanda and Quentin have continued to fall in love through the simple moments in life. They enjoyed weekend trips around the state of Indiana, walks in the park, game nights, sporting events, and spoiling all their nieces &amp; nephews. Quentin has showed Amanda what it means to be a Star Wars fanatic and enjoy comic books and Amanda has made an honest Xavier Basketball fan and coffee cafe lover out of Quentin. Realizing their true compatibility, they moved in to their apartment together in September 2023. THE ONE WHERE HE PROPOSEDFinally on November 4, 2023, Quentin asked the big question. He had planned for a romantic horse and carriage ride around Indianapolis but the coachman had other ideas. Initially, the driver was more focused on verbally confronting individuals who were misbehaving rather than giving the tour. Eventually, the gentleman diverted his attention back to Amanda and Quentin (thank goodness!) and graced them with fun historical facts of the city. The couple was also met with various positive "cat-calls" telling them how adorable they were. After the tour ended at the circle, Quentin asked the coachman to take a picture and then surprised Amanda by getting down on one knee. She gave an enthusiastic "YES!". Quentin then had his and Amanda's parents meet them at El Potro (their first date spot) to celebrate the news. They are now eager to share with you in person the next part of their story: their wedding!
