The knot

Amanda and Jared met online through Hinge, the dating app. Their time on the app was short lived as they quickly began texting and talking on the phone before their first official date in November 2023.

They soon realized just how small their worlds really were; both growing up at Green Acres Baptist Church, and also both attending Whitehouse High School. They had co-existed for many years, just were never a part of the other’s circle.

They quickly realized where their budding relationship was headed and Jared fell madly in love very quickly. Amanda soon followed suit. You always hear, "when you know, you know," and Jared knew.

They had their first Valentine's as a couple and by the end of the month, Jared couldn't wait any longer and asked Amanda to marry him on February 29, 2024.
