Nowhere else in New England can you ride the rails behind an authentic steam locomotive surrounded by historic Maine buildings preserved in a recreated village of aged and vintage buildings assembled from across Maine, and view a collection of 60 antique autos or experience model trains as never before.

Visit Maine and see the beautiful coast, whales, puffins, and other wildlife with Cap’n Fish’s Cruises –  the most experienced coastal boat tour company in the region! Departures leave from historic Boothbay Harbor, Maine seven days a week from mid-May to mid-October. This aquarium is open seasonally & features a lobster display, touch tank & various sport fish. Newly renovated and will be open summer 2024!

We have a wide range of exhibitions from rare, one-of-a-kind scientific, zoological specimens to popular cultural homages to the relevant anthropological and psychological acknowledgements of the sightings and folk traditions to be found within hominology and cryptozoology. As part of our scientific and education mission, we preserve native art and contemporary souvenirs.
