Once Upon a High School Campus

The bride and groom met as teenagers at Yucaipa High School. Amanda was immediately taken with Chad and her crush lasted clear into college - and never really every disappeared completely. She loves to tease Chad about how many of her friends he dated, but she also always says that the "Friend Zone" was always okay with her because it meant Chad was still in her life. They fell out of touch as life took them in very opposite directions, but re-connection loomed about five years in the future.Their paths crossed again when they discovered they were both studying at the University of Redlands School of Business. When they met up between classes to say a quick "long time no see," neither one knew just how close they were to starting their love story.A year or two passed before Chad eventually asked Amanda to a friendly meet-up so he could get some "dating advice," which she didn't recognize for the line that it was. Luckily, this sly attempt to leave the "Friend Zone" worked like a charm. Mere minutes into the evening, Amanda felt like a teenager again and was incurably charmed by him.One week later, the two went on their first official date to stroll through the Mission Inn Festival of lights, and they have been together ever since.

Both Amanda and Chad have known Robi since childhood and she remains one of their best friends to this day.

Susan is part of the "Best Buy Crew" and met Amanda and Chad through her longtime boyfriend Jason (see groomsmen). She and Amanda became inseparable after forming an instant bond on a trip to Puerto Rico in 2015.

Andrea is also attached to one of the groomsmen, Nick, and they both also have Best Buy in common.  Chad first introduced the ladies at a group bowling outing and it took very little time for them to form a close friendship. The bride and groom were honored to be attendants in her wedding in March 2020!

Tyler is Chad's son and one of Amanda's favorite people. He was the immediate choice to stand at his dad's side and it was deeply important to Chad and Amanda that he plays a big part in the day on which they become a family,

Chad and Jason met while working together at Best Buy in Montclair, California. They've supported each other through countless professional and personal milestones and Jason has become one of Chad's closest friends

Stan has been both an employee and a peer of Chad's at Best Buy. Their lengthy professional relationship allowed them to form a personal one and Stan remains a trusted confidant and friend.

Nick also shares retail links with Chad that led the way to an important friendship. He will travel the aisle with his beautiful wife Andrea and Chad and Amanda are thrilled to have the love and support of such a wonderful couple.
