In 2012, Carl and Amanda were introduced to each other in college through a mutual friend group that would begin a years long "would they or won't they" style relationship. In those in between years Carl traveled around the west as a firefighter and eventually bought his own commercial fishing boat in Bristol Bay, AK and Amanda would go on to get her Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. Although they accomplished much and lived separate lives, something always brought them back together.

As the years passed, Carl and Amanda continued to maintain a friendship and eventually fell in love (or were they always?) Ten years after meeting and six years of dating later, Carl proposed to Amanda at Boca Reservoir on a warm October evening just as the sun was setting.

Many will say this has been a long time coming and we cannot wait to celebrate our wedding with all of our amazing friends and family as we get married under the Sierra Buttes, a place that holds many special memories of our long and enduring relationship.
