I feel like I've known you a lot longer than 1 date

Greg messaged Amanda on Match.com on July 31, 2019. She did not reply until a week later because she must have been in a coma or the app must have been down to pass something that good up. On Amanda's suggestion, they went to Dave and Buster's for their first date. Amanda managed to either win every game / let Greg win. They sat at a booth and while they both could have riffed for hours, the conversation became serious and filled with life stories. They quickly realized that this person "Got it" and felt like they had known each other a lot longer than just one date.

They started seeing each other on a regular basis and wound up in Canada in Christmas 2019, where they fell harder for each other. While the place was beautiful and had fun stops, what really mattered was that these two blathered on about anything and everything on both car rides and throughout the country. Amanda even stayed at Greg's apartment when they got home and watched the Giants lose the final game of the season, which would become a tradition. The next night they spent their first New Year's together, as Brett Gilcreast (a known associate of Greg since 1992) allowed them to partake in his own wedding.

Amanda moved into Greg's apartment during Covid and managed to take up an entire drawer with her personal items. Soon after, Tucker moved in and suddenly everyone was much happier.

The couple would later go on trips to Lake George, seeking the shelter of a gas station during a typhoon and having meatball subs that took 3 hours to make. They would go mini-golfing, talk about future kid's names, and endured a night a Howard Johnson that seemed to think America needed to become great again. They would continue to venture to Lake George and soon would add many Vermont trips to the repertoire.

Amanda and Greg have both experienced career changes, (some bigger than others), life events both happy and sad, and lived in 3 different places in the state. They even adopted a crazed dog who is now the literal reason they wakeup in the morning. They know they will always love and support one another through these, and no matter what happens in life they will always go to bed, say "Goodnight, I love you" and try to make sure the dogs are not disturbed while they use their bed.

They look forward to sharing what they believe is their little slice of heaven in Stowe, Vermont.
