Without knowing Amanda, Kyle messaged her on Instagram on April 11, 2020 after seeing a picture she posted of her breakfast during COVID-19. After Amanda looked at his Instagram profile and learned Kyle was in medical school, she messaged him back saying, "What's up, Doc?"

Our first "date" was on FaceTime later that week, where we talked for 3+ hours! We then went on a walk along Kelly Drive in Philadelphia on May 7th. Kyle had flowers delivered to Amanda's apartment after their FaceTime date, and after their in-person date. Amanda knew Kyle was unlike the rest!
