Jay and I met on an online dating app.
After several failed prospects, I was about to give up and delete the app but got a message from Jay. It turns out that I was on his side of the app as his "lucky pick" meaning neither one of us met the other's criteria to even begin a first date but Jay took a chance in hopes that I would be different. I took a chance in hopes that he would be normal. He proved very easy to talk to and after our first date, I couldn't stop thinking about him.
We moved rather quickly and fell in love without effort. Jay confessed he knew he wanted to make me his wife after only a month of knowing me and purchsed an engagement ring almost immediately. He flawlessly kept it a secret until several months later when he popped the question. And we all know my answer ;)
I feel so blessed that we have found each other and I guess that saying holds true: "You'll know when you know."
