Our Wedding

Rancho Del Rio is a Rustic River Setting

Our welcome party, wedding ceremony, reception and group river float will all be hosted at Rancho del Rio and are open to EVERYONE. This is a rustic, river front property with a large campground and some cabins. We will have enough space for all of our guests to camp and we would LOVE for you all to stay with us at Rancho. There are some details you will want to consider:1. Cabins will be designated for our out of state family. We will not be able to provide space to most guests.2. Camping is FREE to all of our guests and does not need to be booked separately. Each site includes a fire ring, picnic table, and designated parking.3. The nights will be cold and can reach as low as 30 degrees. We do not recommend anyone to tent camp if this is your first time or you feel you might be unprepared.4. The campground does not have hook ups. There is a common bathroom space with porta potties and outdoor sinks. Showers are in the cabins and will be made available to any campers who need them.5. If you want to RV/Trailer camp, we recommend the following: - <a href="https://mountainwestrvrental.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://mountainwestrvrental.com/</a> Will deliver an RV/Trailer Camper to Rancho with a generator and a full tank of water for you for the weekend!	- <a href="outdoorsy.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">outdoorsy.com</a> or other camper van rental companies based out of Denver. This will eliminate the need for a rental car and will keep you comfortable at night! And what a fun adventure!6. For the reasons listed above and others, we recommend that young children stay at home for the weekend.7. Please reach out if you have any questions about this!

Hotel Recommendations

There are many hotels and Airbnbs available within a 40 minute drive of our venue. Below are the places that we recommend looking into:*Edwards, CO: 35 minutes away from Rancho. This town is apart of the greater Vail Valley, and Interstate 70 crosses right through it, making it easily accessible. It is at the bottom of the Upper Colorado River. It has shopping, hiking, biking, disc golf, and groceries nearby. *Kremmling, CO: "The Sportsman's Paradise": 40 minutes away from Rancho. This is a small town in between Summit County and Steamboat Springs. It is a modest town with limited commercial amenities but endless outdoor options. We recommend this location for those who want to be away from any hustle and bustle.*Avon,CO or Vail, CO: 40/45 minutes from Rancho. If you are looking for a more high-end luxury hotel, we recommend looking into the iconic towns of Avon (location of Beaver Creek Resort) or Vail. Close to Edwards and also located on I-70, there you will find many 5 star hotels, world-class spas, shopping, and, of course, outdoor activities!

Accommodation Details

We met in December 2011 in Frisco, CO in a duplex apartment. Amanda, 24, living downstairs with her best friend Colleen, Colleen's future husband John, and her new friend Taylor. Kevin, 21, living upstairs with his friends Miles (our officiant!), Jimmy Brown, and Eric Wu. Since then, every adventure on our own, with our best friend, Sushi, or with the people we love has made our hearts grow founder. We can't wait to keep exploring and see whats next.

Getting to Rancho del Rio

Thank you so much to all of our loved ones who are travel from out of state! We know that this is a unique destination and we are so grateful that you are willing to travel! Here is what you need to know:(1) If you are flying: Denver International Airport (approx. 2 hrs from Rancho) will be your best bet. Eagle international airport (approx. 45 minutes from Rancho) is much closer, but has limited incoming and outgoing flights. (2) You will need to rent a car. Our venue is 30 minutes down a dirt road. Taxis and Ubers will not be available. If you want to share/coordinate with other guests, please reach out and we can help with that! (3) There are many campervan rental companies in the Denver area! Look into Outdoorsy.com, van-craft.com, nativecampervans.com/denver-colorado, or many other van companies. (4) Once you are on the road us to our venue, Google or Apple Maps will get you there no problem. Or you can follow the directions below: DIRECTIONSFROM DENVER–Take I-70 West to Silverthorne (Exit #205).&nbsp;Go North on CO-9 for approximately 33 miles toward Kremmling.&nbsp;Just before Kremmling, turn left (West) on the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway (Grand County Rt #1) and follow the river for 19 miles.&nbsp;Rancho Del Rio is on the right FROM ESTES PARK&nbsp;– Take US-34 West to Granby.&nbsp;Take US-40 West to Kremmling.&nbsp;Turn left on CO-9 South for about 2 miles.&nbsp;After crossing the river, turn right (West) on the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway (Grand County Rt #1) and follow the river for 19 miles.&nbsp;Rancho Del Rio is on the right. – Take US-34 West toranby.&nbsp;Take US-40 West to Kremmling.&nbsp;Turn left on CO-9 South for about 2 miles.&nbsp;After crossing the river, turn right (West) on the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway (Grand County Rt #1) and follow the river for 19 miles.&nbsp;Rancho Del Rio is on the right. FROM STEAMBOAT SPRINGS– Take US-40 East for 4 miles to the junction with CO-131.Turn right on CO-131 South and go approximately 55 miles to State Bridge.&nbsp;Turn left(East) on the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway (Eagle County Rt #11) and follow theriver for 4 miles.&nbsp;Rancho Del Rio is on the left FROM WEST COLORADO&nbsp;– Take I-70 East to Wolcott (Exit #157).&nbsp;Go North on CO-131 for approximately 15 miles to State Bridge.&nbsp;Turn right (East) on the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Byway (Eagle County Rt #11) and follow the river for 4 miles. Rancho Del Rio is on the left.

The RIVER!! 

Why are we making you travel so far to Rancho del Rio? Because of all the things you can do here! At Rancho, the main activity is rafting the Upper Colorado River. The river at the shoreline of Rancho is very calm and can be enjoyed by humans of all ages! Rancho del Rio also has shuttle services and boat rentals if you are hoping to raft a longer stretch of the river.
