It was a chilly October 2019 evening when Amanda and her mom, Sue, decided to grab dinner at Earl's Restaurant in the Prudential Center. With there being a long wait for a table, they decided to sit at the bar. Not long into their stay, a young man came up from behind them attempting to get the attention of the bartender. Instead, he got the attention of Sue who quickly offered to buy him a drink, under one condition, that "You introduce my daughter to one of your friends over there".
At just the right moment, Chris just happened to stroll into Earl's for the first time ever with a few friends. He didn’t plan to stay long. But that changed quickly, and fate seemed to be on his side. As he unknowingly stood across the bar from Amanda and Sue, the friend came rushing over and said, "Hey guys, you won't believe it! That lady over there is trying to hook one of us up with her daughter!" Chris glanced across the room and saw Amanda for the first time. He was instantly intrigued and knew he had to make a move. Before his friends could devise a plan of their own, he strolled over beaming with liquid confidence and introduced himself.
Over the next hour or so, they chatted, shared some laughs….tried very hard to shake off Sue….haha…..anyway, they undoubtedly felt a strong connection and exchanged numbers, prior to Chris returning to his colleagues. Before dinner was even over, Chris texted Amanda from across the restaurant and asked "Dinner Friday night?"
