We met in 2015 where we were both in a hip hop production of The Nutcracker, little did we know that we both had a crush on the other...

The show ended in January 2016, and that was that. I joined a dance group and the owner's boyfriend turned out to be Jay's best friend (and now best man) Matt! They found out we secretly liked each other and set us up to go on a double date that night at Tap-ex. At the end of the night, Jay asked if he could walk me to my car (what a gentleman!) and asked for my number; from then on, we couldn't stop talking..

We had our next date at our friend's birthday party at Skateworld, we held hands the whole night and we were both SO nervous! (Side note... I totally pretended to not know how to skate well so he would hold my hand :) )

Later that night, we went to a bar and were dancing and looked at each other when suddenly the packed room disappeared and it was just us, and we had our first kiss. It felt like a magical "movie moment".

The day we made it official! We took a trip to Disneyland this day and had the best time. When we were in line for Tower of Terror (Now known as Guardian's of the Galaxy) we just stared into each others eyes and knew that we were already falling in love (early on, yes but when you know, you know!) We officially became Boyfriend and Girlfriend this day and have been deeply in love ever since!

8 years later...In April 2024, we took a trip to Disneyland to celebrate me graduating nursing school. Jay took me in front of The Guardian's of the Galaxy ride (previously known as the Tower of Terror, where we first knew we were falling in love) and he got down on one knee and proposed! Of course I said YES!! And we couldn't be happier. We set our wedding date for April 6th 2025 because that is our anniversary date :) we will be getting married on our 9 year anniversary, and I can't think of a better way to spend it!

**Fun Fact: Our 1 year wedding anniversary will also be our 10 year anniversary of being together, so special.
