Where is the wedding?
Laughing Waters, 3963 Gerton Hwy, Gerton, NC 28735. Located in Hickory Nut Forest, approximately 30-45 minutes outside of Asheville, NC.
Will the event be outside?
YES! The entire event will be held outside. Bring bug spray, if you wish. Fall weather in NC mountains can be slightly unpredictable, daytime highs are in the upper 70's with the evenings being in the lower 60's. We will be providing pashminas for those that feel the chill in the air.
What do I wear?
Semi-formal, black and/or dark jewel tone colors (ruby, emerald, sapphire etc.). Likewise, since the entire event is outside in the forest (i.e. uneven forest floor, stone stairwells etc.), we would recommend avoiding stilettos or any high heels and opt for a solid chunky heel or boot.
Will there be food?
There will be hand passed appetizers for the cocktail hour.
There will be a full buffet offered during the reception.
Plus desserts!
Will there be a bar?
There will be beer, wine, and champagne passed during cocktail hour.
There will be a full open bar during the reception including non-alcoholic drinks for those who do not drink.
** UPDATED- Will there be transportation to and from the wedding?
Yes, there will be multiple sprinter vans that will take people to and from the wedding. The designated pick up spot will be Embassy Suites in Downtown Asheville.
Once at the wedding, for those that have difficulty walking, a golf cart will be in use to transport people around Laughing Waters.

215pm- Sprinters Arrive at Embassy Suites//Streetside Boarding Begins
*Guests should walk over from Doubletree and Indigo to board

315pm- Arrival to CEREMONY// Laughing Waters Orchard

415pm- All Sprinters stay to transport guests to Cocktail Hour/ Reception

845pm- One (1) Shuttle will be available for any emergency or early birds.
NOTE*-Latest early bird shuttle will be 845pm so the sprinter can return for the end of the night service by 10pm
945pm- All four (4) Sprinters staged and ready for guest departure
10pm- EVENT ENDS
1015pm- Final Guest Boarding
1045pm- Guests returned to Embassy Suites, Doubletree and Hotel Indigo
NOTE: Cellular signal is unreliable as you near Gerton, NC.

Note*- Fall hotel rates in the NC mountains are HIGH due to increased tourism for the fall foliage. Booking with the hotels that we have secured room blocks for will lock you into this lower rate.
