Where will the ceremony be held?

Schwabacher Landing, the address is US-191 in Moose, WY. GPS coordinates: 43.71167374240029, -110.67047563491109 There should be plenty of parking.

What time is the ceremony?

Friday June 21st, 2024 at 7pm sharp. Why so late? We wanted a sunset ceremony.

What should I wear to the ceremony? Reception?

For the ceremony please dress semi-formal and for the reception casual, we want you to be comfortable!

Do I have to attend the gathering on Thursday night?

NO, this is simply a "meet and greet" for our parents and family members, since we don't exactly all live in the same state! If you would like to come by and grab some drinks and hangout, please do and feel free, but do not feel obligated.

What will the weather be like in June?

In short, unpredictable! I suggest checking the weather app before/while packing. Wyoming just got snow on 5/23. Historically, end of June the temps should be in the low 70s during the day and drop to 50 at night.

Where should we stay?

Lodging in the Jackson area can be expensive, we recommend staying in the following towns in WY: Etna, Wilson, or Star Valley. Other options include the towns of Victor or Driggs in Idaho. All options are about an hour drive from the park. If you're looking for better views, then I personally suggest Driggs, ID. If you are into camping or some closer options look no further than the campgrounds and lodges within Grand Teton National Park.

Best spots to see wildlife?

Moose Wilson road, National Elk refuge (probably not during summertime), near the Snake River, Jenny Lake loop drive, and Lamar Valley inside of Yellowstone NP.

Places to eat in Jackson Hole?

If you visit the Jackson town square where there are plenty of options to choose from. Million dollar Cowboy Steakhouse, Mangy Moose, Local Restaurant & Bar, and breakfast at The Bunnery Bakery (a personal favorite)

Best things to do in the area?

Please see our things to do page! If you need any help planning, general tips, etc feel free to reach out to us as well.

Things to do the day after?

Please join us Saturday night at the Jackson Hole Rodeo at 8pm Buy tickets: https://jhrodeo.com/

Essential items to pack?

Sunscreen! If you plan on hiking anywhere further than 2-3 miles in "back country" we suggest bringing bear spray (and knowing how to operate it), however if you will be sticking to short/very popular trails we do not think that would be necessary. Phone chargers. Cameras. Sturdy shoes to wear if you plan on going on any hikes. Quality socks! A warm/light jacket or sweatshirt for night time. Bathing suit if you plan on jumping in one of the many lakes.

When should I RSVP by?

May 1st! We already have a pretty good idea of our guest count since we have to keep it very small!
