Jermaine and Amber met in 2015 at Caughman Road Park in Columbia, SC. Amber will tell you she was looking at Jermaine trying to figure out how they knew each other, while Jermaine will say she was looking for other reasons. After conversations with a mutual associate, Amber shared her number with Jermaine without hesitation. They met later that evening at Ruby Tuesdays for drinks and have been inseparable ever since.

From the beginning basketball played an intricate part in the couple's love story. It was Jermaine's mentorship to young athletes that most attracted Amber to him. Together they spend their summers volunteering their time and talents with young athletes.

After two years of dating, Jermaine proposed to Amber on her birthday with a few close friends present. Wedding plans came to a halt after finding out (while at a basketball tournament of course) they were expecting another addition to their already lively crew....

Like many couples, they've experienced highs and lows, but through it all love prevailed. In the end, Amber played Jermaine for his heart and won. They are excited to share their love and their special day with those who have been on this journey with them.
