Our relationship started when we both attended Marshall University’s School of Pharmacy. I vividly remember during our white coat ceremony that the school secretaries jokingly said that they played match makers at the pharmacy school. I thought that this was quite funny at the time, but fast forward 3 months after the start of classes me and Nicholas started dating.
I broke the ice by inviting our table of classmates, of which Nicholas was one, to the farm I kept my horse to learn to ride. Nicholas came out and from that moment on we continued to build our relationship while partaking in all the activities we both enjoy. From horseback riding, fishing, shooting, skiing and everything in between we have continued to build our relationship through our combined love of the outdoors.
I am happy to say the past 8 years have flown by with many ups and downs. From long distance relationships, graduating a doctorate program, and establishing a career, I am most excited for this next step in our future.
