*** Nathan and I understand that deciding to come to our wedding might be a difficult given the situation with COVID. We wanted to let all of you know that we value your own health and the health of your family over attending our wedding. Our venues are taking all the precautions to make it as safe as we can for everyone. There will be disposable masks for everyone available at the church and the reception hall. You will need a mask the entire time while you are in the Church. You will need to wear a mask while you enter the reception hall, Banquets of Minnesota. Again, We know that this can not be a easy decision to make, We are treating all accepted RSVP's as tentative until 10 days before the wedding. ****&nbsp;

IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION

In 2012,&nbsp;Amber and Nathan met in&nbsp;their intro class&nbsp;to&nbsp;Automotive Engineering Technology, at Mankato State. They knew who each other were, but never really spoke. Nathan spent most of his time in class on his phone, and&nbsp;he&nbsp;would always answer all the questions correctly. While&nbsp;Amber didn't even know what a gasket was.&nbsp;

One day,&nbsp;Amber was completing&nbsp;a lab for one of her intro classes. She was in the lab room and&nbsp;using one of the two lab stalls, as the&nbsp;other one was&nbsp;occupied.&nbsp;Nathan also needed to use a lab stall,&nbsp;so he joined Amber. She was trying her hardest to complete her Break Pad Measurement lab, but she was struggling,&nbsp;for the lack of a better term. So Nathan helped Amber finish the lab, then that was the start of their friendship.&nbsp;&nbsp;

How We Met

Over the years of course work, Nathan helped Amber with labs and&nbsp;her study for the tests.&nbsp; Once that Amber had asked Nathan if he could teach her how to drive a manual transmission, and he agreed, she knew that he must like her more than a friend. This is because he had just installed a brand new clutch assembly.&nbsp;&nbsp;Needless to say, the ability of Amber driving a manual is on a:&nbsp;"If I am the only sober person and it's the only car to drive," level.&nbsp;

Developing their Friendship

In 2014, during one of Amber's driving lessons, she had to leave early to go study for a Calculus II test, which she had later that week. Nathan asked if she wanted to come study at his place, then offered to drive her back afterwards. Not to mention that Nathan was hungry. &nbsp;Amber agreed.&nbsp;Once at Nathan's place, he gets some food while Amber begins to study. But Amber quickly realized, she's read the same equation over and over for the past 10 minutes, and she hasn't retained anything.&nbsp;

Amber sets her book down and turns to Nathan, saying, " I don't know how to say this so I am just going to say it, I like you as more than a friend."&nbsp;

Nathan looks towards her and with a mouth full of food, replies, "The feeling is mutual."&nbsp;

"What do we do now?" Amber asked.&nbsp;

"I don't know."&nbsp;

So Amber kissed him.&nbsp;

"That was unexpected," Nathan said, smiling.&nbsp;

Little did either of them know, but it was the start of the rest of their lives.

The Beginning

Over the next 4 years, Nathan and Amber&nbsp;have encountered:

- Nathan graduating college





- Nathan getting a job&nbsp;at his dream company, Polaris





- Amber graduating college





- Amber getting a&nbsp;job at Cummins



-Nathan accepting a job over 6 hours away in Roseau, which only made them closer





-Nathan then&nbsp;getting a job back home, after two years in Roseau





- Living with Nathan's Parents as a couple





- Living with Nathan's Parents as an engaged couple

The next 4 years

It’s the month of February, which is busy for Amber and Nathan, due to prime snowmobiling weather. Nathan had planned three trips to go riding for the month, one of which is with Amber. The only other time Amber and Nathan had gone riding together was in Roseau. The snowmobile trail was alongside a road, in a ditch. Amber didn’t enjoy it very much.

Uncharacteristically, Nathan was planning the entire trip for Amber and him.This small fact tipped off her that something was going to occur that weekend. She’s usually the one to plan events or activities for them to do, so when Nathan decided to plan the entire thing by himself, Amber knew something was up.

They drove up to Tofte, Minnesota, and were staying at Bluefin Bay, right on Lake Superior. Amber claimed that she had no idea that they would be staying at such a nice place, but she totally knew. 

Nathan was able to get some Snowmobiles from work for both of them to ride, and the next day they headed out on some trails. For lunch, they visited the Trestle Inn, a place Nathan had been talking about since they started dating. Amber was excited to finally get the chance to go to the famous “Trestle Inn.” 

Afterwards, the two began their slow journey back. But because Amber's navigation skills aren’t up to par, she didn’t know where Nathan was leading her. Which was Carlton Peak, the tallest peak around. About halfway up the slope, they stopped at a lookout, Amber thought they were going to then turn back down the hill, she thought wrong. Nathan kept leading her up the peak. 

Amber’s mood went sour when there was some bare rock exposed ahead of them, and she couldn’t get up over them with her beginning riding skills. So Nathan replaced Amber on her sled and took it up the rocks. Amber was swearing and yelling at Nathan in her helmet, but Nathan could not hear a word. 

Then there was a second set of rocks a little further ahead. She eventually made it up the second pile of rocks, but she was even more peeved. 

Then they finally made it to the top. The view was stunning. 

While they looked over Lake Superior, Nathan said, “I love you.” 

Amber replied, “You better, I just climbed a frigging mountain for you." 

Nathan tries to start again and Amber replies with another snarky comment. 

Then Nathan took both of Amber's hands, hoping that she would get the picture. 

He then said, “Amber, I love you, I was apart from you everyday for two years, I never want to be apart from you for another day for the rest of my life, Amber Elizabeth Cederholm,” then getting on one knee, “will you marry me?" 

Amber’s eyes are filled with tears of happiness, and then she said yes. Yes to spending everyday with him for the rest of their lives.

Details

Heather is the Bride's sister. She is one of the Bride's closest and oldest best friends.&nbsp;One of Amber's&nbsp;favorite memories is when Heather had started college and she would miss her sister a lot. So Amber would call&nbsp;Heather, and she would answer every single time.&nbsp;Whether Heather was on her way to class or stepped out while she was hanging out with her friends. It really meant a lot Amber.&nbsp;Along with other countless memories that Amber and Heather have shared over the years, Heather will bring a much needed origination to the big day.

Brianna and Amber's Friendship is some crazy shit. There really isn't any one moment&nbsp;to to pick where it had&nbsp;started.&nbsp;Brianna is fierce, independent, caring, and she&nbsp;calls Amber out on her shit.&nbsp;Over the years, while Heather started to grow her own&nbsp;life,&nbsp;Brianna started to help fill some of the gaps that were missing.&nbsp;When Brianna first met Nathan, she said nothing. But then&nbsp;Amber was given a "nod"&nbsp;of approval. Brianna knows Amber almost better than she knows herself.&nbsp;Brianna bring&nbsp;a much needed calming and comedic relief.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Lizz-zay! Big booty dancer! Haha,&nbsp;I probably shouldn't say that.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lizzy and&nbsp;Kelly are the math tutors of the group. She is a force to be reckoned with and extremely modest.&nbsp;Heck, the group didn't know she was hitting homers in high school until a fellow classmates congratulated her on them!&nbsp;She is going to bring so much life to the dance floor and her smiles and comic relief.&nbsp;

Alex&nbsp;is Nathan's one and only sister.&nbsp;Alex has a place in Amber and Nathan's relationship that she is unaware of.&nbsp;When Amber and Nathan first started talking, Nathan was always talking to his sister, and is close with her. At that point, Amber knew Nathan was a keeper because he treated her with such respect.&nbsp;Alex with bring a much need college life enthusiasm, along with a bomb playlist.&nbsp;

Adrianne and Amber met while in College, they both worked at the Lane Bryant in Mankato.&nbsp;Amber still remembers&nbsp;when Adrianne asked her to be apart of her wedding,&nbsp;which was by far, the best wedding Amber has ever been to.&nbsp;Amber&nbsp;has chosen Adrianne to lead the reception part of the evening, as there will be many nods to her wedding in Amber and Nathan's.&nbsp;Adrianne is Amber's go to person for anything tooth related. She is so good at what she does, and being a patient of hers is a true honor.&nbsp;

Melissa and Amber met in College. Amber's first impression of her was the short girl who dressed in pink camo.&nbsp;In the class which Amber&nbsp;had my first encounter with Melissa,&nbsp;Amber&nbsp;was more focused on Nathan instead of her.&nbsp;Over time they started to know each other and got really close during Amber's senior project. They&nbsp;found out that we are from the same home town,&nbsp;Rochester, and they ended up living together their last year at Mankato.&nbsp;She will definitely be out on the dance floor busting a move, so if anyone likes to dance she is your gal.&nbsp;Amber has chosen Melissa to lead the ceremony part of the day so she can bust a move on the dance floor.&nbsp;
