Tannery Marketplace is a quick 5-minute walk from Market Square downtown, and Boston Magazine even named it one of the best shopping destinations on the North Shore. Here you can find great shops as well as some amazing restaurants such as Joppa Fine Foods and Brown Sugar by the Sea.

Maudslay State Park-

One of the most beautiful parks in Massachusetts and is just a 10-minute drive from Market Square. Home to 16 miles of trails to explore, it’s also a wonderful spot for a picnic, and to admire their gorgeous rose gardens. Massachusetts residents only have to pay a $5 parking fee to visit the park, and out-of-state residents will want to expect a $20 entrance fee per vehicle (prices as of 2023).
