Alex and Amber's story is a testament to the unexpected twists and turns that life can bring. Although they attended the same high school, they ran in different friend groups, and went their separate ways after graduation. Years later, as adults, they reconnected on Facebook while keeping up on each other's lives without actually speaking. That all changed when Amber posted asking for job recommendations for her brother Noah. Alex took the opportunity and reached out hoping to catch Amber's attention. The conversation quickly went from speaking of jobs to catching up on the past 12 years of their lives; soon after Alex asked Amber to go out for a dinner date. Their first date didn't exactly go according to plan—it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. It was a bust and ended up with Amber paying for dinner to prove a point, that it was NOT a date.
