What is the Dress Code?

The dress code is cocktail attire. What does "cocktail attire" mean to us? Ladies: short dresses, long dresses, or a nice jumpsuit. Gents: a suit with or without a tie. Please wear whatever you feel your best in!

What time should I arrive at the venue?

We kindly ask everyone to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony (between 4:30 and 4:45 PM). This allows time for parking, finding seats, etc. for us to start the ceremony promptly at 5:00 PM. The string quartet will be there and playing - so you will get to hear a few extra songs!

What is the Weather like this time of year?

Weather typically ranges from low 70's to mid 80's (21c - 27c) with sporadic thunderstorms.

Can i bring my children?

Unfortunately, we were only able to invite children of our immediate family members. Thank you for understanding!

where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Pavilion at Carriage Farm (1913 Pagan Rd., Raleigh, NC, 27603).

is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

If weather permits, the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, and the reception will be held indoors.

What does parking look like?

The venue has a large parking lot with plenty of space. If you enjoy the open bar a *little* too much, guests are encouraged to leave cars overnight at the venue as long as they are retrieved by 10:00 AM Sunday September 21.

Do ride shares pick-up/drop-off at the venue?

Yes! Both Uber and Lyft are reliably available to and from the venue. We encourage guests to take advantage of rideshare options or provided transportation to safely enjoy the celebration!

Are you providing transportation for guests?

Yes! Transportation from the hotel to the venue will be departing at 4:15 PM. Transportation from the venue to the hotel & after party will be departing at 11:00 PM. Please let us know in your RSVP if you plan to use transportation either to or from the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?

We kindly ask our guests not to bring a plus one, unless they are included on the invitation or your invitation indicates "& guest". Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We're having an "unplugged" ceremony, so we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away.

is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes!

What type of food will be served?

There will be an assortment of both passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. For dinner, we will have a plated salad and bread available at each table. This will be followed by a buffet featuring 3 options: steak, chicken, and a vegan option, along with sides. Don't forget to save room for dessert!

Will there be an open bar?

Yeah, baby!

What is the after party?

We've closed down the bar (Dram & Draught) across the street from the hotel for our after party! Everyone is welcome to hop on the shuttle or meet us there to continue the celebration!
