One of my favorite memories with Amber is when we first met, we were playing assassins and both doing pretty well and she cleverly hid my shoes to kill me! We didn't know it would be the start to a great friendship all those years ago. Also, that time Amber, Mike, and I conquered Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah and it got slippery at the top because it had rained. That part of the hike is just climbing rocks and we thought we were going to die, but then we made it and rewarded ourselves with Korean Barbecue!

Shes's just the best road trip partner. She's go with the flow when she needs to be and can make decisions when she needs to, as well. I'm so excited to plan your bachelorette party for you, Amber!!

My favorite memory is Amber's whole life from the time she was little until now when she is getting married -all those years. It was all special. But I do have a funny one! Amber had a paper plate, decorated it to be a mask, and we went begging on Halloween together. I could run even faster from house to house than Amber!

As Amber is my little sister I don't have just one favorite memory- the first memory that comes to mind is her being a turkey whisperer! When she was really little she had a dance off almost with a turkey through the sliding glass door of our parent's home ON Thanksgiving! One with nature, obviously! But seriously, there are so many memories - our trips exploring Niagra falls, Florida, Grand Bend beach days ( and basically every family trip from going to luaus in HI to having a blast at Cedar Point, to exploring the MI sand dunes), going to the apple orchards, swimming at stag island, sledding in the backyard, games over the holidays after we both left home, us graduating (different levels/programs) and celebrating together, Black Friday shopping, makeup tutorials (her as the youngest helping me!). If I had to pick just one .... the impromptu Rocky Horror show we went to one year (my first live performance) when I came home and we made an emergency trip to the costume shop - her the picture of Columbia, me a random alien. So many memories! :)

Getting to know Amber has been such a pleasure over the years. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. Amber is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met; her smile and personality will light up any room. My favorite memories have simply been just getting to know Amber as a person, having great in depth conversations, and spending quality family time with her. Although Amber has already been a member of our family for many years I’m glad it will finally become official. She is the perfect fit for our family and for Mike.

Amber became my friend in a time when I so desperately needed support and kindness. She has been with me through some of the hardest times of my life and at every turn she has been a beacon of joy and comfort. Being Amber’s friend is like having a constant hype person who will love you with enthusiasm and loyalty. There is no one specific memory I have that is my favorite. Rather the whole of who Amber is and all of the little moments we have shared over the years are some of my most cherished memories. I love and appreciate her more than I feel I could ever express in words, and am so happy that I get to be a part of her life, and her wedding day.

There are too many memories with Amber to count! I remember when she came up to me in the hallway at school and told me we were going to be friends 💕 When she dyed her hair purple and it’s still on the ceiling at my parents lol. All of the concerts from Panic to Kesha!! And our trips from Vegas meeting Chumlee camping together Florida. Float down in st Clair. She has always been an amazing friend and I feel special that I can be part of this!

Truthfully I had a friend crush on Amber in college because of the wonderful human she is and the light she brings to this world. Post college we finally hung out and I remember how easy she was to be around and talk to. Normally first hangouts with friends you only see in group situations can be uncomfortable (maybe just a me thing), but that wasn't the case with Amber. We got El Granjero (still the best quesdilla I've had) and talked about life and probably social justice things. Little did I know then that she would become one of my best friends and we'd live together, survive COVID lockdown, create club Hovey (my favorite memory), and have eachother as a shoulder to cry on as we experience life.

My favorite memory with Mike is sitting in the mall parking lot for 6 hours after the opening day of Trader Joe’s, it really solidified our friendship!
Lauren Kelly - Groomswoman
One of my favorite memories with Mike is all the nights we hung out in Kirkof at GV. I loved the passion we both had for the most random subjects (even though we often disagreed!)
I also loved our trip to North Carolina for Alternative Breaks! It was our first way to really connect after high school and we were able to bond over destroying invasive species and playing salesman! (Photo with Mayor Bliss)

My favorite memory with Mike was his last trip out to visit, it was really fun! We explored like 2/3 of the Oregon Coast and finding that super cool little patch of redwoods in southern OR and that waterfall at the end of the beach.
Harrison Lange - Groomsman
My favorite memory of Mike is freshman year of college getting together with you Kyra and Samantha and visiting Caleb Sarah Scott and Perry at Michigan.
Joe Sherman - Groomsman
My favorite memory has to be the Halloween parties at the Douglas House!! Had some really great times shooting the shit with Mike and got to know how cool Amber is over those late night code-names and drinking sessions :))
Josh Ryan - Groomsman
It’s hard for me to pick a favorite memory, but most recently I loved going to Wu’s Wonton King In lower east side NYC! That or the clutch pizza after your Palermo shifts!
Perry Benson - Groomsman
My favorite memories with Mike include any number of basement political chats, beach and bonfire hangouts; really too many to count! Our road trip out west to Rocky Mountain and Zion national park, among others, had to be a highlight, though 😁
