We met back in 2017 when I started working at United Road, I was only there for a short period of time before Mike and I's attention caught each others but it was mainly me catching him checking me out and pretending he wasn't LOL. Our paths always conveniently crossed whether it was walking by each other or somehow timing would be perfect for us to get on/off the elevator at the same time (where there was awkward silence because no one wanted to be the first to talk). One day he finally had the guts to find me on Facebook and message me about a post I made asking for someone to help me fix my dishwasher. He sent me a video on how to fix a washer to try to be helpful and break the ice (poor guy was nervous and it was so cute so I didn't correct him that I needed help with a DISHwasher, not a regular washer LOL). He asked me out 3 times before I said yes! (not for the lack of wanting to, he always had bad timing lol) So he got major brownie points for not giving up on taking me on a date. We've been best friends since and the happiest we've ever been in life! Through life hardships, joining our families and having a baby of our own, moving and building a better life for our kids, we have always been by each others sides and somehow never seem to get sick of each other, ever. I can't wait to marry you Michael Patrick Riley, you're my better half that makes me whole. I'll see you at the alter. ♥
