What date do I need to RSVP by?
June 1st, 2024
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at hotels? Where should I stay?
We have not reserved any blocks of rooms at any hotels. We have found it easiest and cheapest to rent an Airbnb, but you are welcome to stay wherever is most convenient for you. The ceremony is at Pass-A-Grille beach so we recommend staying in the St Petersburg or even Largo area depending on the drive you are willing to make to the ceremony.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony is outdoors and will be on the beach in the sand, so dress accordingly.
Will there be a shuttle to and from hotels?
We debated setting up a shuttle to and from the ceremony, but it was very expensive for such a short amount of time and didn't want the chance of anyone being left behind and not making it to the ceremony.
Transport?
We recommend renting a car while down in Florida so you can make it to the Ceremony on time and are also able to adventure around the city and all it has to offer! Please make sure you get to the ceremony site early enough to find parking, this is a public area and a public beach
Dress Code?
The dress code is beach formal, this can mean a lot of things but really we just want to make sure everyone looks nice but are also comfortable. Make sure you take the heat of Florida into account and check the weather when planning what to wear. There is no specific color you need to wear or not wear. If you have any questions on dress code or need inspo, reach out to Amber.
Weather?
Florida weather can be really switchy. It will be sunny and hot with no clouds in the sky one minute, and downpouring the next. But it could clear up really fast. If it does end up raining really bad, the venue planners will most likely have us just wait it out, or there's a chance we will be getting hitched in some rain! Let's hope for some beautiful weather though.
Am I allowed to bring a Plus One etc.?
Only the people whose names are listed on the guest list are the ones allowed to come to the ceremony and to food & drinks after. We are only allowed so many chairs and space on the beach. If you would like to bring your family down to Florida and make it a family vacation, that is totally fine! They just won't be able to attend the ceremony.
Time Frame?
The ceremony begins at 6:30pm, so please make sure you get there early to find parking and find a seat. The ceremony is only about an hour long maybe even shorter depending on how smooth everything goes. Immediately following the ceremony, there will be some time for photos, and then we can all head to The Reef for food & drinks.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
The only children who will be attending are those on the guest list. No other children will be able to attend the ceremony. Again, if you would like to bring them to Florida as a vacation, totally fine. You will just want to make arrangements for the kiddos while you attend the ceremony and after party.
Wedding Registry & Gifts?
