It all began with a Facebook post and a sister's not-so-subtle matchmaking mission.Kyle’s sister, Danielle, took to a local Moms Facebook page, posting on his behalf in hopes of finding someone nearby for her brother to date. On November 22, 2023, they met for sushi (despite Amber's hilarious struggle with chopsticks), and sparks flew instantly. Kyle was charmed by Amber’s radiant smile and stunning hazel eyes, while Amber fell for the tall, blue eyed Alaskan in jeans and boots who felt like home.From that very first date, they knew they had found something special. Love blossomed quickly, even across the miles. For six months, they navigated a long-distance relationship, traveling between Florida and D.C., cherishing every moment together and trusting that God was writing their story.And He was.Exactly one year later, Kyle proposed in the most magical way—at Chena Hot Springs in Alaska. The snow fell gently around them as Kyle dropped to one knee, privately asking Amber to be his forever. Surrounded by nature and love, she said yes with a heart full of joy and certainty.Amber and Kyle’s relationship has always had God at its center. They weren’t looking for love, but love found them—unexpected, undeniable, and perfectly timed.
