Q + A

What should I wear?

The bride and groom request that everyone come in semi-formal/cocktail attire. You can wear any color you like excluding anything white or close to it. Their is a walk to the ceremony location on gravel, so please bring shoes you can walk in, and it is suggested no stilettos. The groomsmen will be in Navy and the bridesmaids in different shades of green.

Will we be outside?

Yes! Our ceremony and part of the cocktail hour will be outside, please dress accordingly.

What is the weather like?

Leesburg, Virginia during October is normally around 55-65 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and can drop down to the mid 40s at night.

Where are you registered at?

We are registered here on theknot, amazon, and Etsy. All are linked on the registry tab on this website or can be found on their respective websites by searching Evan or I's name and the month & year of our wedding (10/2023).

Can I bring a plus one?

If you received a plus one, this will appear under your name when you RSVP and on your formal invitation. Please ensure you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest. Due to limited space we can only accommodate those who are formally invited on the wedding invitation.

Can I bring my children?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those who are formally invited on the wedding invitation, for this reason only a select few children in the family are being invited. If your children are included in this, it will appear under your name when you RSVP and on your formal invitation. Please ensure you are RSVPing for yourself and your children.

Can I take pictures/video?

We are having an unplugged ceremony. We ask that all phones and cameras be put away and on silent for the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture one of the most important days of our lives. We'd hate to have a well-intended person's phone or device blocking the moment for them to capture. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos as you want and be sure to visit our photobooth! We promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as we get them!

I have a dietary restriction/preference, how do I let you know?

When you RSVP there will be a section for you to fill out with any dietary restrictions. This includes gluten free, vegetarian/vegan, lactose intolerance, etc.

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes! When you arrive at Stone Tower, please go past the gravel parking lot towards the paved parking lot. Follow the signs that state wedding parking as they will minimize your walk to the ceremony location. You will enter through gate 2.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes! Our venue has ramps and an elevator for those needing more assistance. For our ceremony since it is a bit of a walk, we will have golfcarts for those that need extra assistance.

What time should I arrive?

4 to 4:15pm. Our ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm EST. From where you are parking the ceremony location is a 5 to 10-minute walk, so please plan accordingly. If you are late there is no guarantee we can let you in, as the aisle comes in from the side and not the back of the ceremony location so you would have to walk past the bride and groom to get to your seat. We recommend arrive around fifteen minutes early to give yourself enough time to park and get situated.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Our wedding's theme is a Starry Night looking at the Aurora Borealis! With Evan's love of space and career choice in satellite engineering and Amber's fond memories of bonfires looking at the stars with her family it was a no brainer when it came time to choose our theme. You'll see it throughout our wedding day from our colors to our rustic and industrial with a touch of whimsical feel.

Can I post the pictures I take on social media?

Absolutely! We love to see all the pictures you captured of our big day we just ask that you tag us or include our wedding hashtag #HappilyEvberAfter
