The venue is a 15-20 min drive from Rapid City, located in Hisega, SD. There are ubers and lyft in Rapid City as well as taxi's that will come out to the venue if you choose this option. There is plenty of parking at the venue if you drive yourself.

Yes! (Hopefully) Weather permitting the ceremony will take place outside. Please dress accordingly. There will be an indoor option if needed. Cocktail hour, dinner, and reception will all be indoor.

Fall in Western South Dakota can be unpredictable. It could be 65 and sunny or cloudy and rainy or even snowy. Please check the weather the week before and come prepared.

Rapid City is a tourist destination, but our wedding is taking place in the "off" season, so there should be ample choices. The ceremony starts at 4pm, so please arrive at least ten minutes prior to get settled and find a seat. You may arrive as much as 30 min before.

Mike and Amber will be in their most fancy dress. We encourage our guests to dress up with us. Take this opportunity to have fun with your clothes! Express yourself! We realize for many a "nice" pair of jeans is dresing up, but please consider expanding your horizons with maybe a nice pair of khaki pants, go crazy and wear dress pants, wear a dress, a skirt, a romper! Sparkles, stripes, patterns, go nuts, just please stay away from those jeans.

The bar will be "open" until the predetermined amount of money has been reached. As long as no one goes crazy immedietly most guests should have 1-2 drinks on us. After that plan on paying for your own. Drinks will be $5-$7 each, cash and card is accepted. Please do not bring in outside alcohol to the venue.

We will be having a buffet style meal with chicken cordon bleu and roast beef with horseradish sauce. Caesar salad, roasted carrots, potato casserole and dinner rolls with butter. Cocktail hour will have a popcorn machine for guests to help themselves and there will be a surprise late night sweet treat
