In 2021 Amber decided to make the move from Dallas, TX to Florida to be closer to her family. Neither Rob or Amber were looking for a relationship as Amber was busy exploring her new city and Rob with his kids. In June Amber's sister met Rob through a mutual friend and thought the two would make a great match. A month later they were able to meet and immediately hit it off.

They maintained a somewhat long -distance relationship with Rob living in Lakewood Ranch and Amber living in Tampa, but they made it work. Through countless phone calls and long trips to see one another the two fell in love. There was one final piece to this love story that's just as important. Rob's children.

Amber was a little apprehensive at first since she didn't know what the kids would think of their relationship. However, it was without cause as both Amber and the kids got along seamlessly and as they spent more time together, they became bonded in a special way. Once Rob saw how she and the kids interacted, he knew she was The One. Rob surprised Amber with a special proposal on Thanksgiving with the kids and family. Needless to say, Amber said "Yes"! Looking forward, this is only the beginning of wonderful things to come in their future as they begin a new life together.
