Short answer is no, but lets talk about altitude sickness and how to avoid it. The altitude of Frisco is 9026ft! that is about 3,500 feet higher than Denver and a whopping 10 times the elevation of Kansas City!!! So how to avoid altitude sickness; the best way is to stay hydrated! Drinking tons of water allows your body to have what it needs to generate more red blood cells to help with the limited oxygen in the air. Also when you first get here please go for a nice walk moving around helps your body acclimate to its new surroundings. Symptoms of altitude sickness include Headaches, Shortness of Breath and Dizziness. If you start to feel any of these Best thing to do is sit down drink some water and take Advil or Tylenol to alleviate the headache.

Alcohol will also effect you differently at altitude you will feel it faster and with fewer drinks, the rule I always have is for every alcoholic drink please follow it up with one full glass of water. This will save you in the morning :)

The mountain weather in Colorado is always changing but follows a similar pattern: Cool Moring's in the lower 40's, Sunny midmorning rising temps to 70's and possible quick mountain storms in the evenings. Remember you are closer to the sun so even though the temp may be colder it will feel warmer, also Sun burns are a real threat up here please wear sun screen when outside for longer periods of time!

We recommend to dress in layers that are easily removable. The mornings will be chilly so a light jack and sweater, that then can be removed for the sunny warm afternoons! Have a layer that you can add or remove is crucial to staying comfortable throughout the day. Also recommend a nice rain coat incase a late afternoon shower strolls through
