Henry and Amber first met in October of 2008 at Portillo’s in Oak Lawn. Amber was already working there and Henry was newly hired. Henry was home from the University of Minnesota and wondered about the cute short girl that worked the cash register. His interest would remain a secret due to Amber being in a relationship and pregnant. Eventually Amber became single and expressed her interest in him. They began dating when her daughter was 4 months old. The rest is history.
